How to Prepare for Your First Class:

Before Class: 

  • Fill out the consent form HERE (or at class, we have copies) 

  • Register for class HERE 

What to wear/bring: 

  • Wear yoga or sweat pants, a t-shirt or yoga top

  • Yoga is usually done in bare feet 

  • Bring a yoga mat and yoga blocks if you have them (thick books are a good substitution.) No worries if you don't have a mat or blocks , I have plenty of extra mats and blocks to borrow for class!

When to arrive: 

  • Arrive 15 minutes early to register if you haven't already.

  • Q: Do you have to pre-register/book regular classes ahead of time?

    • A: No. You can just drop in! If you would like to pre-register to receive class reminders and confirmation, click HERE.

  • Q: How much does the class cost? 

    • A: The class is donation based. ​A typical donation is between $10 and $15 per class.

  • Q: Why is the class donation based?

    • A: I don’t want cost to prevent anyone from participating. Please feel free to pay what you can. My goal is to cover the cost to run the class and to be able to provide mats and blocks to participants who need them.

  • Q: How do I donate to Overjoyed Yoga? 

    • A: You can donate to Annie Accettullo's Venmo account HERE

    • B: Pay in class, by cash or Checks. Checks payable to Annie Accettullo.

  • Q: What type of yoga is it?

    • A: Vinyasa flow - Vinyasa Flow yoga is the sequential movement between postures and stretches, coordinated with and guided by deliberate breath. The combination of breath and movement, creating strength and fluidity in the mind and body.
